We've made FirstRing even smarter and more user-friendly. With these improvements, you can work more effectively within your specific role on the crisis communications team and see more clearly exactly what changes FirstRing has made.
The menu structure is now organized around the roles in the crisis communication team, and when adding new information, you can specifically select which sections you want to update and see in advance what will change. After making a change, you can see exactly what FirstRing has modified.
🧭 A menu tailored to the roles in your crisis team
FirstRing's menu structure has been updated. The sections are now grouped around the various roles in the crisis communications team: situational analyst, advisor, editor, spokesperson, and process coordinator.
This makes it easier for you to find what you need within your own role. In addition, this new structure provides the foundation for updating information in a more targeted way: you no longer have to automatically regenerate all sections whenever something changes or new information is added.
🔄 Choose what you want to update
New information comes in during a crisis. Which parts of your communication actually need to change as a result? FirstRing now shows, for each section, what could be updated. You can check or uncheck those sections and then have only your selection updated.
Expand a section to see what’s new or needs to be updated. For example, which passages in the strategy are being updated or which new press question is being added. This way, you stay in control and avoid unnecessarily regenerating sections that are still current.
✏️ See right away what FirstRing has updated
Even after a change is made, it’s clear what happened. For example, if you instruct FirstRing to add a new press question or rephrase an answer, you’ll see next to the relevant question that it has been updated and which text has been changed.
This applies not only to press inquiries, but also to all other aspects, such as strategy and copy. So you don't have to go through the entire document yourself to find out what has been changed.
